Entry Fee: $0
Limit: 3 pieces per artist.
Accepted Mediums: Drawing, Painting, Photography, Printmaking, Assemblage, Collage, Mixed Media, Fiber Art, Wood (2-D only, no 3-D, sculpture, video, film, performance art, or installations).
Length of Show: Opening and artists’ reception on Friday 11/16, show comes down on Saturday 12/8.

Theme: Kinship and the Politics of Healthcare
I’m looking for artwork expressing your experiences and ideas around topics like: illness and disease; caring for loved ones; access to resources; communities and civics; miraculous recoveries; medical professionals; technology; self-care; nature as medicine; research & development; advocacy; aging and society; etc.
Artwork doesn’t need to be figurative or to have a literal or obvious visual connection to the theme of the show. Artists will be asked to comment on how their piece(s) relate to the theme of the show. Artist comments will be shared with viewers at the show.
Kinship: the state or fact of being of kin; family relationship.
Related Words: affinity, lineage, clan, family, flesh, kindred, blood, tribe, folk, kin, relations
Politics: exercising or seeking power in the governmental or public affairs of a state, municipality, etc.
Related Words: civic, constitutional, economical, official, legislative, bureaucratic

Terms & Conditions
Artist receives 50% of retail price of each Artwork sold in $US within thirty days of the exhibition.
Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses, and risk of loss or damage incurred in the delivery of artworks to Curator, shall be the responsibility of the Artist. Artist is responsible for delivery and pick-up of artworks.
Photography, filming, and videography of the Exhibition, including television coverage, may be permitted for documentary, educational, or publicity purposes and used in perpetuity with no further consent needed. Artists will receive marketing materials to use in promoting the show and access to event photographs after the show for their own promotional use. Artist reserves all rights to the reproduction of the artworks.
All artwork, whether shipped or picked up directly, comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Once a piece is in the Buyer’s possession, they will have 7 days to examine it. If they wish to return the art, they may do so for a full refund of the purchase price. Please note shipping fees charged are non-refundable, and Buyer is responsible for the return shipment of artwork.
The Host will be responsible for the security and safety of the Works while they are on-site, via reasonably expected methods such as locked doors, alarm set and no public access without a representative of the Host or Curator on site. Artwork is handled with care and with reasonable safety measures, thus, Curator and Host are not held liable for damages, theft or acts of God (such as, but not limited to, fires, explosions, earthquakes, drought, tidal waves and floods). Artist agrees to indemnify and hold Host and Curator harmless from any personal injury or property damage claim that may occur as a result of the exhibition. Except with respect to claims arising from a Party’s separate negligence or willful acts, which shall remain that Party’s personal obligation, each Party agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the other Party and its team with respect to a claim arising from the Party’s actual or alleged act, failure to act, error, or omission in the performance of their obligations under this Agreement or any governing law or regulation.
